Anti-Arroyo Protests Go Online

While thousands of protesters took to the streets yesterday to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution and call for President Gloria Arroyo’s resignation, a number of bloggers echoed these sentiments in cyberspace.

Participants in the Gloria Resign blogswarm that was initiated by Jen Llarena of Etcetera Etcetera posted images and messages calling for Arroyo’s resignation. Today is the second day of the campaign, which is also dubbed as Electronic Data Swarm Against Arroyo (EDSA) wave 1.0.

Among the participants in the blogswarm campain are The Pedestrian Observer, All That Blogs, All Summers Disease, Bayan ni Kabayan, Tambayan ni Paeng, and Apol the Great.
