MLQ3 Livetwits Speakership Coup vs. JDV

Political blogger Manolo Quezon on Monday night reported the latest developments on the speakership row at the House of Representatives through his Twitter account.

From 5:28 pm to 9:42 pm, Quezon posted updates on the vote that resulted in the ouster of Speaker Jose de Venecia (Lakas-CMD) and the election of Davao City Rep. Prospero Nograles, Jr. (Lakas-CMD) as the new speaker.

“Congresswoman’s name is Bondoc. What a clown. She even got her facts wrong. GMA was elected 2004,” Quezon said in one of his posts, referring to Pampanga Rep. Anna York Bondoc (NP), who voted in favor of declaring the speakership vacant so she could get more staff, consultants, and pork barrel.
